Allerton Bishop is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a Site Operational Excellence Manager for a site in Northern England. The role reports to the Site Director and is responsible for driving Lean performance, embedding Six Sigma methodology and leading site-based PMO activity to support operational performance and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma and CI initiatives across manufacturing, quality and supply chain.
- Act as Site PMO lead, driving governance, reporting and delivery of strategic projects.
- Facilitate problem-solving workshops, Kaizen events and CI training for site teams.
- As the Site Operational Excellence Manager, you will analyse operational data to identify performance gaps, bottlenecks and waste.
- Build and monitor KPIs, dashboards and standardised improvement frameworks.
- Coach and influence stakeholders to embed a continuous improvement culture.
Candidate Requirements
- Industry experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG or regulated production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and CI tools (Green/Black Belt advantageous).
- Demonstrable work experience in PMO, operational excellence and/or manufacturing.
- Confident communicator with ability to challenge and influence cross-functional teams.
